Jordan River is a professional podcaster and passionate cannabis cultivator. After a 5 years stint of growing medical marijuana professionally in Humboldt County from 2010-2015, Jordan merged his passion for growing with his passion for broadcasting and launched GrowCast into the world, with the help of his long time grow mentor Wolfman.

Now Jordan helps thousands of cultivators from all around the world elevate their grow game, through the GrowCast network and GrowCast membership on Patreon; The Order of Cultivation. Jordan is proud to be able to efficiently educate growers from all around the world, and empower them to grow the best cannabis they can!

Rob Smith

Executive Producer

Rob Smith was a ganjapreneur and creator of the incredible plant support system known as The Atlas Plant Trainer. He joined the GrowCast team in 2018 and took the project to an entirely new level- becoming integral part in expanding the show and creating the membership platform.

Tragically Rob passed away in October 2020. He will be remembered for his incredible work within the cannabis industry, changing lives and providing value- but also he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend. RIP Rob Smith.

Wolfman needs little introduction, but for those who don’t know, he’s spent nearly 17 years in the retail cannabis industry- doing everything from managing grow shops to coordinating logistics for grow supply warehouses. This has provided him with an unrivaled knowledge and perspective in the world of cultivation products, and a deep inner understanding of the cannabis industry’s workings.

Wolfman is also a long time cultivator and consultant himself, having helped design, build, and operate hundreds of cannabis grows over the years. Whether it’s DWC, supersoil, or straight coco, Wolfman’s got the answers you seek, and he’s happy to share them through the GrowCast network!

Rhizo Rich

Organic Cultivation Expert

Rhizo Rich is an extremely talented and passionate cannabis cultivator, who holds a specific emphasis on organic gardening, and educating home growers. After growing cannabis for about 12 years synthetically, Rich tried his hand at regenerative gardening for his cannabis, and hasn’t looked back since. He’s dedicated himself to growing the best organic cannabis possible, and helping others do the same.

In 2019 Rhizo Rich launched Illinois Cannabis Consulting to help educate and empower growers from the midwest and beyond. Rich works hard every day to ensure that the new growers of the world have an accurate source of information that they can rely on, through his podcast appearances and his consultation work!

Marybeth Sanchez

IPM Specialist

Marybeth started life as a farmer’s daughter, immersed in agriculture & with a great interest in plants in general. She studied horticultural & agriculture independently for most of her life. An experienced homegrower of a variety of crops, she currently manages a local nursery in the Emerald Triangle. 

Marybeth regularly advises cannabis growers of all levels of practice, from small home growers to commercial operations, with over 10 years of cannabis industry immersion. From IPM to microbial studies and regenerative agriculture science, Marybeth has expertise in just about every “field” in the world of natural farming!

Dr. MJ Coco

Cultivation Science Officer

Dr. MJ Coco is a professor of anthropology. He does academic research in peasant communities where he’s lived and worked with farmers for years. He has graduate level training and has taught university courses in horticulture.

His speciality is growing cannabis in coco coir and perlite.  When he starting growing in coco he did extensive research and found the information available to be contradictory and misinformed. He expanded his research into scientific sources to understand the chemistry and biology of soil-less horticulture.
